Our philosophy is different from most. Simply put, we encourage our advisees to “go for it.”  Your school may have great college admissions counselors, but those counselors have many students to work with and need to consider the good of the overall class over the individual. They have incentives to convince students to narrow the schools to which they apply to avoid competing with their classmates. Many independent counselors worry about their “admit rate” at particular schools or try to lower expectations so they can say that a certain percentage of their students get admitted to their “top 3” choices. You never want to conclude this process wondering “what if.”

We work with a small number of students in each class. Furthermore, we both work with each student. This allows us to contribute our different skill sets and perspectives on choices, essays and all aspects of the application.  And when you hire us, you get us.  We don’t have staff or intermediaries to whom we outsource any of the decisions or reviews.  

We look for candidates whose commitment and vision matches ours. We will work hard on your presentation to every school, we will expect you to do the same. We work with clients throughout the United States and  around the world.
